The Arlington Conservation Council is led by a dedicated group of volunteers who guide our mission to protect and preserve the natural environment in Arlington, Texas. Our board members bring diverse expertise and a shared passion for environmental stewardship.
President Dick has led ACC since 2018, championing urban forestry initiatives and building partnerships with the City of Arlington to protect green spaces across the region. Vice President Treasurer Marian manages ACC finances with precision, ensuring donor contributions are maximized for conservation impact. She brings decades of nonprofit accounting experience. Secretary Jamie keeps our meetings on track and our records organized. A lifelong Arlington resident, she is passionate about preserving native prairie habitats. Editor John edits The Post Oak newsletter, telling the stories of Arlington's wildlife and the volunteers who protect it. Board Member Grace brings her background in environmental education to the board, leading community outreach programs and school partnerships. Board Member John is a veteran conservationist who has been instrumental in advocating for water quality improvements along the Trinity River corridor. Board Member Elin focuses on pollinator habitat restoration and native plant advocacy, coordinating ACC's annual wildflower planting events. Board Member Hester brings expertise in environmental policy and has been a key voice in ACC's efforts to influence local zoning decisions.Officers
